| Roberto Miniero PRO Thank you but I've a doubt: an accepted pic is less important than a like. Each like adds something to our points while an accepted pic no. Is it true? I think that the points for an awarded has to increase as well as for a published one. An accepted pic can have a 45% acceptation from member curators as from expert ones but no point. Thank you so much. |
| Marie Salmeron-Serrano PRO I have one more question. The feature that allows to sale accepted photographs, is it retroactive or only moving forward?. I do not see the option to buy on previous accepted ones. Thanks again! |
![]() | Yvette Depaepe CREW It is retroactive, dear Marie. But you have to mark it yourself on previous images accepted. |
| Marie Salmeron-Serrano PRO I think it is a step in the right direction to allow selling them. I love the idea of the QR codes. Perhaps now it would be nice to understand if there is a cut off criteria to classify a photo as Accepted, Published or Awarded. I may have missed that information. Thank you. |

New curation Status – “Accepted”
Images approved by member curators will now be given the status Accepted. These images will appear on the photographer’s profile page but not in the main front-page gallery.
This creates a more inclusive space for photographers who are developing their craft while still maintaining high standards for publication.
Curation Status - “Published”
Images approved by expert curators will be Published.
These images can be seen by visitors in the galleries for published photos and on the photographer’s profile page. |
| Chong Q. Wu PRO Interesting development. So when it comes to curation, will there be a choice of “Accept”, adding to the current “Reject - Publish - Sublime”? |
![]() | Yvette Depaepe CREW No, dear friend ... Images will be accepted autumatically according to the results of the curation votes from the members and expert members. |
![]() | Yvette Depaepe CREW Sorry, I just mean the curation votes from the members. |

![]() | Chong Q. Wu PRO Very well. Thank you, Yvette. |
| Greetje van Son PRO That is a good improvement on 1x.com. Thank you for this information and explanation Yvette. One question: what means: Downloas SD? |
![]() | Yvette Depaepe CREW Simply download your own image in lower definition, Greetje ... Can be useful to share it. Only you can download it for sure because it is protected by copyrights. |
![]() | Greetje van Son PRO Thanks Yvette. |
| Miro Susta CREW In my opinion it is very good idea, I fully agree with Elizabeth comment, I might one question/suggestion, why not award such photos with, for example around 20 points? Just my suggestion.
And thank you Yvette for using my photo in this introduction. |
![]() | Yvette Depaepe CREW Thanks, Miro ... glad it sounds clear! |
| Elizabeth Allen CREW Sincere thanks for this validation of images in the Accepted category. I have seen many Accepted images that seem just as worthy as some published images. Some members have voiced disapproval of the category in the forum, but personally I would not submit a photo for curation that I wouldn't be happy to see in my portfolio. Thank you again! |
![]() | Yvette Depaepe CREW Thanks for your fine reaction, Elizabeth! |
